YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College women's tennis team dropped a nonconference matchup to Middle Georgia State, 6-1, on Saturday morning.
The Mountain Lions picked up a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles from Futaba Saito and Maud Scholten, but Middle Georgia State claimed the doubles point by taking the No. 2 and No. 3 matches. The Knights then secured the team victory by winning five of the six singles contests.

• Viviana Gomez earned the Mountain Lions' lone singles victory with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles.
• Futaba Saito forced three sets at No. 2 singles before falling 6-2, 1-6, 2-6.
