BRISTOL, TN | The Mountain Lions traveled to the home of King University today (Sept. 27) for a conference matchup with the Tornado. YH fell just short in the matchup with King, falling in the fourth set. Abby Schirm recorded 13.5 points and Mary Margaret Wilson added 13 points to lead the Mountain Lions. 

Young Harris moves to 4-9 overall and are 1-4 in Conference Carolinas while King moves to 4-7 overall and are 2-2 in Conference Carolinas. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Young Harris fell 3-1 in the match with King. 

• Abby Schirm led the Mountain Lions with 12 kills while also adding 23 digs and 1 block. 

• Mary Margaret Wilson was efficient with a .265 attack percentage and scoring 12 kills. 

• Linsey Burke recorded 27 assists and 11 digs to set up the offense while also adding 5 service aces. 

• Lyza Thigpen contributed another 7 assists for the Mountain Lions. 

• Kathryn Urbanek recorded 6 kills and 3 block assists for YH in the match. 

• Ella Matheson added another 2 block assists in the match to go along with 4 kills. 

• Lexie Martin ended the game with 13 digs and 1 service ace.
