BELMONT, N.C. | The No. 14-ranked Young Harris College men's soccer team remained unbeaten with a 2-0 road victory over Belmont Abbey College on Saturday (Sept. 27) evening at Alumni Field. 

Young Harris remains hotter than a match, racking up their sixth straight win (6-0-1 overall and 5-0 in Conference Carolinas play). The Crusaders dropped to 3-3-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• The Mountain Lions broke through late in the first half when Amin El Ghazi netted his first goal of the season in the 42nd minute, giving Young Harris a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. 

• Filip Zander doubled the advantage in the 72nd minute, scoring his third goal of the season to seal the win for Young Harris. 

• Despite being outshot 12-8, the Mountain Lions were clinical in front of the goal, converting two of their three shots on target. 

• Goalkeeper James Dee was named Player of the Match after recording four saves and earning the clean sheet. 

• Amin El Ghazi and Zeke Ortiz each recorded a shot on goal off the bench, while starters Filip Zander, Leho Le Louarn, and Ondrej Kopecký contributed to the attacking effort.
