FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA| The Mountain Lions traveled to the home of Emmanuel University today (Sept. 17th) for a Roar War matchup. YH women's soccer fell short in today's matchup, falling to the Lions of Emmanuel by the score of 2-0. Young Harris now moves to 2-3 overall on the year and are 1-1 in Conference Carolinas.  

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

• Emmanuel takes the game over Young Harris 2-0. 

• Emmanuel struck first in the 29th minute of the match with Emily Chavez scoring on an assist from Jimena Rivera. 

• Emmanuel would take a 2-0 lead in the 67th minute with Veronica Calixto scoring by way of a Jillian Aldrich assist. 

• Young Harris attempted twenty shots to the Lions twelve, with Carolina Gutierrez recording seven shots and one shot on goal. 

• YHC had eight shots on goal while EU had seven. Darfur Martinez led the Mountain Lions with two shots on goal. 

• Emmanuel had eleven fouls in the match compared to Young Harris having seven. 

• Clara Williams played all 90 minutes in goal and recorded five saves in the match.
