CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. | The Young Harris College women's tennis team showcased resilience in a tough three-match stretch, competing against strong opponents. Despite the results, the Mountain Lions delivered standout performances. 

Highlight Performances: 

Columbus State (Mar. 8) | 4-0 Loss 

• Singles: Callie Stanfield was in control at No. 6, leading 6-4, 3-0 before her match went unfinished. 

• Doubles: Simone Mercier & Futaba Saito put up a fight at No. 1 but fell in a competitive 6-3 match. 

Lees-McRae (Mar. 9) | 6-1 Loss 

• Doubles: Mercier & Saito shined at No. 1, earning a 6-3 win. 

• Singles: Saito dominated at No. 4, claiming a 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) victory. Stanfield fought through three sets at No. 5 before narrowly falling. 

Indianapolis (Mar. 10) | 4-3 Loss 

• Singles: Viviana Gomez staged an impressive win at No. 2, coming out on top: 6-4, 6-2. 

• Singles: Maud Scholten also picked up a big win at No. 3, securing a 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 victory.
