YOUNG HARRIS, GA| The Young Harris College men's indoor track and field team has been selected to finish tenth in the 2025-2026 Conference Carolinas Indoor Track and Field Preseason Poll. The Mountain Lions received 84 votes in the preseason poll, following a tenth-place finish in the conference tournament for the 2024-2025 season, and are poised to climb further up the rankings in year two of the program under the direction of Director of Track and Field/Cross Country Matt Logan and assistant coach Dylan Dicicco. Â
The Mountain Lions will look to build on their momentum from last season with experience from seniors Wyatt Whipp and Noah Mason, while also returning sophomores Aidan Vrazel and Ryland Hunley. A young team with many returning athletes will seek to achieve new personal bests and make a push for the Conference Carolinas Championship.Â
This season Young Harris will look to find success through a competitive 2025 schedule that begins on December 7th with the JDL Early bird Invitational. Following this, the Mountain Lions will return to the JDL Fast Track for two more meets with the Mondo College Invitational and the Camel City Distance. Young Harris will then travel to Danville, Kentucky for the Centre Indoor Invite and Multis before returning to the JDL Fast Track to round out the indoor season with the Conference Carolinas Indoor Track and Field Championship.Â
