ANDERSON, S.C. | The Young Harris College Women's Soccer team earned a 3-1 comeback victory over Erskine College on Wednesday (Oct. 29) afternoon at Anderson University, following a weather-related rescheduling.
After trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Mountain Lions surged in the second half with three unanswered goals. Charlotte Brown netted the equalizer in the 52nd minute, scoring her first goal of the season. Sunny Bowlin-Stacy then took over the match, scoring twice in the 67th and 80th minutes to seal the win. Scarlett Hirschy assisted Bowlin-Stacy's first goal.
With the win, Young Harris improves to 8-5-3 overall and 7-2-3 in Conference Carolinas play. Erskine falls to 3-9-2 overall and 2-9-1 in conference action.
