ANDERSON, S.C. | The Young Harris College Men's Soccer team cruised to a 6-0 victory over Erskine College on Wednesday (Oct. 29) afternoon at Spero Financial Field at Anderson University.
The Mountain Lions opened the scoring in the 17th minute and never looked back, netting four goals in the first half and adding two more after the break. Daniel Osorno scored his sixth goal of the season in the 28th minute, followed by Bjarne Renner's third of the year just two minutes later. Philip Abda added a fourth goal in the 36th minute, assisted by Filip Zander.
In the second half, Nolan McLure scored in the 61st minute off a pass from Antonio Soler, and Andres Simons capped the scoring in the 73rd minute with his first collegiate goal, assisted by Erik Aceituno.
With the win, Young Harris improves to 11-1-3 overall and 10-1-1 in Conference Carolinas play. Erskine falls to 2-9-2 overall and 2-8-2 in conference action.
