YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College Women's Soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over Converse University on Saturday (Oct. 25) afternoon at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.
Scarlett Hirschy broke the deadlock in the 49th minute, scoring her 11th goal of the season to give the Mountain Lions a 1-0 lead. Siara Moore added an insurance goal in the 83rd minute, finishing off a well-placed assist from Betsy Bu.
With the win, Young Harris improves to 7-5-3 overall and 6-2-3 in Conference Carolinas play. Converse falls to 5-9-2 overall and 4-6-1 in conference action.
