YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College Men's Soccer team dropped its first match of the season in a 4-2 loss to Converse University on Saturday (Oct. 25) afternoon at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.
Daniel Osorno leveled the match in the 13th minute with his fifth goal of the season after Converse opened the scoring early. Philip Abda added a second goal for the Mountain Lions in the 36th minute, but the Valkyries responded with three first-half goals and added a fourth in the second half to seal the win.
With the result, Young Harris moves to 10-1-3 overall and 9-1-1 in Conference Carolinas play. Converse improves to 6-5-3 overall and 5-3-3 in conference action.
