ROME, Ga. | A second straight 6-0 statement win for the Mountain Lions as they dismantle Shorter University on the road Wednesday afternoon (Oct 15). Young Harris scored five second-half goals to cruise past the Hawks at Ben Brady Field.  

The Mountain Lions improve to 6-5-2 overall and 5-2-2 in Conference Carolinas play. The Hawks fall to 1-7-2 overall and 0-6-2 in the conference.  

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• YH outshot Shorter 25-2 overall and 18-1 in shots on goal. The Mountain Lions offense was relentless, converting six of their 18 shots on frame.  

• The defense was equally dominant, allowing just one shot on goal. Emily Jantz and Clara Williams combined for the clean sheet in goal.  

• Sunny Bowlin-Stacy continued her stellar form with two goals and an assist, bringing her season total to seven goals.  

• Aliyah Lowe opened the scoring in the 37th minute and added an assist later in the match.  

• Candice Deschamps, Scarlett Hirschy, and Betsy Bu each added a goal, while Mackenzie Tooke tallied two assists.  

• Hirschy now has 10 goals in 13 games played and remains one of the most dangerous attacking threats in the league.
