Mountain Lions Compete at Jay Jennison Cup

JAY JENNISON CUP RESULTS
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL |
The Young Harris College men's golf team traveled to the World Golf Village – King and Bear course for the two-day Jay Jennison Cup (Sept. 29–30). The Mountain Lions battled through three rounds on the par-72 layout and finished 18th in a very competitive field. 

INSIDE THE SCORECARD:

  • Young Harris finished 18th with a three-round team score of +43, posting rounds of +21, +11, and +11. 

  • Samuel Ankelstam and Joel Sergel led the way for the Mountain Lions, each finishing tied for 68th at +8. Ankelstam carded rounds of +1, +6, and +1, while Sergel posted scores of E, +3, and +5. 

  • Adrian Ronn finished tied for 83rd at +15, highlighted by a steady final round of +2 after opening with +9 and +4. 

  • Alex Miggas placed 87th with a total of +17, improving as the tournament went on, with scores of +12, +2, and +3. 

  • Todd Marovich rounded out the lineup in 91st place at +21, shooting +11, +2, and +8. 

UP NEXT: 
The Mountain Lions will return to action on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 6-7) at the Currahee Collegiate in Toccoa, Georgia.
