YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Samuel Ankelstam put together a standout season for the Mountain Lions, earning Conference Carolinas All-Conference honors behind one of the most consistent performances in the league. He recorded three top-five finishes at the King Invitational, AU/Erskine Currahee Invitational, and Greenwood Men's Invitational, while posting a 72.31 scoring average across the year. Ankelstam also fired a low round of 67 on three separate occasions, showcasing his ability to go low and contend in every event he entered.

His consistency was just as impressive, shooting even par or better in 13 of his 26 rounds throughout the season. Ankelstam's performance elevated him to a peak national ranking of 58th while climbing as high as second in the Conference Carolinas individual rankings, solidifying his place among the league's elite and playing a key role in the success of the Young Harris men's golf program.
