Box Score Chattanooga, Tenn.| The Mountain Lions faced the Columbus State Cougars on Saturday (Mar. 9) afternoon. A tough opponent took down the Mountain Lions, 7-0. Although the Mountain Lions women's tennis team fell 7-0, they put up a couple of good sets against the CSU Cougars.
YHC fell to 5-4 overall this season and the Cougars rose to 6-3 overall. The Mountain Lions return to action on Tuesday (Mar. 12), where they face Drury University in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

In doubles, the combination of Catarina Marcko Ferreira and Luciana Bejarano almost won a doubles match for YHC, falling to CSU's Laura Pesickova and Agostina Bigotti by a score of 7-6.

Simone Mercier found herself in a great battle with Mariana Ramirez, taking it all the way to set three, before falling (10-8) in the final set.

Meghna Mallath also fought valiantly for YHC, taking her matchup with Bigotti to set three as well and extending it all the way to a (12-10) defeat.
