Chattanooga, TN| The YHC women's tennis team faced off against Drury University on Tuesday (Mar. 12) afternoon. After a tough battle, the Mountain Lions fell to the Panthers, 4-0. 

YHC moves to 5-5 overall, while Drury University falls to 5-4 this season. The Mountain Lions return to action on Wednesday (Mar. 13) against Catawba College in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

INSIDE THE SCORE SHEET: 

• YHC lost all three doubles matches, by scores of (6-1, 6-3, and 6-3). The combination of Simone Mercier and Holly Ashford putting up the best fight for the Mountain Lions. 

• The Mountain Lions played the Panthers in clinch matches, so not all sets were completed.  

• Alma Abazi, Maria Fernanda De La Torre, and Eliana Weichel all picked up wins for Shorter in singles matches. 

• Simone Mercier put up a great fight in a match that did not finish (DNF), winning set one (7-6) and losing set two (3-2). Viviana Gomez also put up a great fight in a match that DNF, winning set one (7-5) and set two (4-1) over Antanina Novik of Shorter.
