Rome, GA| The Mountain Lions men's tennis team continues their hot streak in 2024, this time with a dominating 6-1 victory over the Shorter Hawks in Rome, GA on Saturday (Feb. 24) afternoon.
YHC took all three doubles matches over Shorter and won five of six singles matches.
The Mountain Lions move to 3-2 overall this season, winning their third straight match. Young Harris returns to action on Thursday (Feb. 29) afternoon when they take on UNG in Young Harris, Georgia at the Bob and Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The pairings of Rodrigo Mendoza and Hemang Gaur (6-2), Mason Harmon and Michael Shut (6-0), and Gregor Gottein and James Bixby (7-5) all won their doubles matches.

Bixby won his singles match against Shorter's Sebastian Gomez in two sets (6-1 and 4-6).

Gottein defeated his opponent in two sets (6-2 and 6-3), and Harmon took down his opponent (6-2 in both).

Eric DelValle won his singles match over Roman from the Hawks (6-0 and 6-4), and Gaur bested Moline from the Hawks (6-3 and 6-2).
