ROME, Ga. | The Young Harris College Mountain Lions women's soccer team continues their reign in the Southwest division with their winning streak. The Mountain Lions roared to victory over Shorter University with a 2-0 shutout, netting both goals in the second half. In the last 27 minutes, Shania Harris put YHC on the board, and with 18 minutes left, Justice Colburn added another goal to secure the win for the Mountain Lions.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

• YHC put up 27 total shots (13 SOG); the Hawks recorded 0 total shots on goal. 

• Betsy Bu, Anita Roese, and Harris each fired five shots. 

• Adoria Sanders and Colburn had three shots, with one on goal. 

• Chloe Schmidhuber and Morgan Kasel both recorded 2 shots. 

• Mckenna Peaster kept a clean sheet in goal for YHC. 

• Shorter's Karis Eccleston saved 11 shots, allowing two.
