MACON, Ga. | The Mountain Lions women's basketball team took on the Mercer University Bears on Wednesday (Oct. 30) evening on the road. Young Harris had the opportunity to play an exhibition game against Mercer and traveled the three-and-a-half-hour journey to do so. Kamryn Bates and the Mountain Lions came out of the gate ready to go, and at the first timeout, were within one point of Mercer (10-9). In totality, Young Harris battled hard but eventually fell to the Bears. YHC took the opportunity to play a higher level of competition prior to the start of their regular season next Monday (Nov. 4) evening.Â
