Box Score FLORENCE, S.C. Young Harris lost a hard-fought battle in four sets (18-25, 25-23, 25-20, 21-25) against the Francis Marion Patriots this evening (Oct. 18
th). The Mountain Lions had three attackers finish with double-digit kills, in addition to
Lyza Thigpen racking up 46 assists.
The Mountain Lions move to 2-9 overall and are 2-6 in Conference Carolinas. The Patriots move to 6-11 overall and are 5-3 in Conference Carolinas.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Nicole Klucharich (15), Lily Hidalgo (13), and Shelby Mullins (10) led Young Harris in kills. Mullins finished the day hitting .400 and Klucharich at .270.
- Lyza Thigpen registered a double-double and neared a season high in assists with 46, in addition to 12 digs.
- Joha Bernis held down the back row, giving the Patriots a hard time finding ways to score. She recorded 27 digs over the four sets.
- The Mountain Lions hit .212 to the Patriots' .254 this evening.
- In the serve and pass game, Francis Marion had 8 aces to Young Harris's 7. Lexie Martin led the Mountain Lions with 3 service aces.
- At the net, FMU had 7 blocks to YHC's 6.
- Sophie Bearden had a strong presence at the net for YHC. She recorded 3 blocks on top of her 7 kills.
