AMERICUS, Ga. | Young Harris College shut out Georgia Southwestern State University 7-0 in a Peach Belt Conference women's tennis match Thursday (March 30) afternoon.
The Mountain Lions improved to 7-8 overall and to 1-1 in the PBC, while the Hurricanes slipped to 1-5 and 0-2. YHC returns to action Sunday (April 2) at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex with an 11 a.m. PBC match against No. 5 Flagler College.
INSIDE THE SCORESHEET:
- The Mountain Lions didn't drop a set in the win and only dropped 15 games against the Hurricanes.
- YHC clinched the match when Catarina Marcko Ferreira won her match at No. 6 singles by scores of 6-0. 6-1.
