YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The University of Texas at Tyler defeated Young Harris College 6-1 in a women's tennis match Wednesday (March 15) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Patriots improved to 8-4, while the Mountain Lions fell to 6-7. YHC returns to competition next Wednesday (March 22) when they host No. 37 Lee University in a 2 p.m. match.

- Louise Ratiu earned the point for the Mountain Lions as she won in three sets. She dropped set one 7-2 before evening up the match at 1 as she claimed the second set in a tiebreaker 7-5. She then took the match by winning 10-8 in a super tiebreaker.
