YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College women's tennis team won their third match in a row with a 4-3 win over Reinhardt University Tuesday (Feb. 28) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Mountain Lions improved to 4-5, while the Eagles fell to 2-2. Young Harris returns to action Wednesday (March 1) with a 2 p.m. match against Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina.
INSIDE THE SCORESHEET:
- Reinhardt took a 1-0 lead after taking two of the three doubles matches.
- Louise Ratiu, Meghna Mallath and Emily Bush all won their singles matches in straight sets to tie the match at 3.
- Joselyne Chapui clinched the match for the Mountain Lions at No. 1 singles in three sets. Chapui dropped the first set in a tiebreaker before sweeping sets two and three by scores of 6-2 and 6-4.
