Young Harris, G.A.| The Mountain Lions fell to the Truett McConnell Bears on Friday (Dec. 29) afternoon at the Harp Recreation and Commencement Center. The Bears scored 41 second half points to best the Mountain Lions.
Young Harris moved on to 3-9 this season and Truett McConnell advanced to 4-10. The Mountain Lions return to action at the Harp Recreation and Commencement Center on Monday to kick off the new year at 2 PM against Fort Valley State.

Alysee Dobbs was the leading scorer for Truett McConnell with 23 points, while also adding three rebounds.

Lily Griffith recorded 11 rebounds during her team leading 36 minutes of playing time.

The Bears shot 39.1% from the field, while the Mountain Lions shot just 22.2% in Friday's contest.

Young Harris outrebounded Truett McConnell 45-44, and outshot the Bears from the free throw line 72.2% to 70.6% respectively.
