Murfreesboro, N.C. | The Young Harris College women's volleyball team fell 3-1 (25-22, 25-16, 25-19, 25-18) to Chowan University Saturday (Nov. 4) afternoon. The Mountain Lions fall to 10-16 overall and 7-10 in Conference Carolinas while the Hawks improve to 6-21 and 5-12.
YHC returns to action Sunday, November 12Â for the first round of the Conference Carolinas tournament against Barton College at 1 PM in Florence, S.C.

- Faith Kelly had 10 kills and Shelby Mullins added eight of her own.
- Mullins also recorded 10 blocks.
- The Mountain Lions battled the Hawks trailing 2-0 heading into set three and won 25-19 to force the final set 4.
