Young Harris, GA | Emily Trushel scored 27 points as the University of North Georgia recorded an 88-53 women's basketball win over Young Harris College Saturday (Nov. 11) afternoon on day two of the Peach Belt/Conference Carolinas challenge at the Harp Recreation and Commencement Center.
The Mountain Lions fell to 1-1, while the Nighthawks improved to 1-1. YHC will travel to Anderson S.C. to face Anderson University at 7 p.m. Friday (Nov. 17) at the Abney Athletic Center.

UNG had two players score over 20 points in Saturdays contest. Trushel put up 27 and Ansley Hall finished with 22.

The Mountain Lions top scorer was JaMari Frederick, who finished with 14 points, three assists and four rebounds.
