MONTEVALLO, Ala. | The University of Montevallo picked up a 3-0 decision over Young Harris College in a women's soccer match Monday (Sept. 5) afternoon at Varsity Field.
The Falcons improved to 4-0-0, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-4-0. Young Harris returns to action Saturday (Sept. 10) afternoon as the kick off its Peach Belt Conference schedule with a 4 p.m. contest against Georgia College at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Alea Taube scored in the 12th minute to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead. UM added two second-half goals.
- Montevallo outshot Young Harris 17-9, including a 9-4 margin on goal.
- Havyn Isaac stopped six shots in goal for the Mountain Lions.
- Elicia Mulvaney and Alexis Scarpinato each recorded three shots for YHC.
