YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The No. 11-ranked Flagler College women's tennis team recorded a 7-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Young Harris College Saturday (April 23) afternoon at the Bob and Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Saints improved to 14-6 overall and to 6-1 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions ended their season at 6-14 and 1-6.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- The Mountain Lions recognized senior Zoe Freke prior to the match.
- Louise Ratiu forced a third set in her match at No. 2 singles. Ratiu won the first set 6-2 before dropping set two 6-2. Her opponent outlasted her 12-10 in the super tiebreaker.
- Freke dropped a 7-3 tiebreaker in set one of her No. 4 singles before losing 6-0 in set two.
