CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. | Yazz Wazeerud-Din scored 20 points to lead the University of Chattanooga at Tennessee to a 65-39 women's basketball victiory over Young Harris College Monday (Nov. 7) evening at McKenzie Arena.

The NCAA Division I Mocs improved to 1-0, while this was an exhibition game for the Mountain Lions. YHC will open their regular season Friday (Nov. 11) with a 7 p.m. contest against Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• The Mocs broke up a close game in the second quarter when they outscored Young Harris 19-3.
• JaMari Frederick and Dustie Obah led the Mountain Lions with seven points each, while Olivia Tucker had six points.
• Mackenzie Johnson and Kaela Ward each posted five rebounds.
