MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University picked up a 25-14, 25-19, 22-25 and 25-14 Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball victory over Young Harris College Friday (Oct. 14) evening at the Centennial Center.
The Bobcats improved to 10-11 overall and to 6-4 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 3-20 and remained winless in nine PBC contests. YHC continues on the road Saturday (Oct. 15) as they travel to Greenwood, South Carolina, for a 3 p.m. PBC contest against Lander University.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Lily Hidalgo led the Mountain Lions with nine kills, while Shelby Mullins had eight and Chase Vaigneur added seven.
- Alex Boydstone set a career-high 30 assists for the Mountain Lions.
- Kori Still had four of the eight sevice aces for YHC.
- Young Harris had three players - Joha Bernis (17), Vaigneur (14) and Boydstone (12) - with double figure digs.
- Mullins and Alex Pierre each contributed three total blocks for the Mountain Lions.
