YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Francis Marion University held off Young Harris College 25-20, 25-20 and 25-23 for a Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball victory Friday (April 16) evening at the YHC Recreation and Fitness Center.

The Patriots improved to 4-9 overall and to 4-9 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions in their inaugural season fall to 0-13 and 0-13.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• Hailey Hart had 11 kills, while Jessica Beckner had 10 for the Mountain Lions. It's the first match that YHC has had two players with double figure kills.
• Alex Boydstone had 24 assists for the Mountain Lions
• Emily DeBerry posted 16 digs, while Amber Cunningham had eight and Boydstone contributed six more.
• Cunningham had a solo block, while Annie Messler had four block assists. Marie Ahern tallied three more block assists, while Beckner tallied one.
