DAHLONEGA, Ga. | Katey Derkay scored in the 19th minute to led the University of North Georgia past its cross-mountain rival Young Harris College 1-0 in a Peach Belt Coference women's soccer match Monday (March 8) evening at the UNG Soccer Complex.

The Nighthawks improved to 3-1-0 overall and to 3-1-0 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 2-3-0 and 2-3-0.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

North Georgia outshot Young Harris 14-5, including 8-1 on goal.
The Nighthawks held a 12-3 margin in corner kicks.
Alexis Scarpinato had three of the five shots for the Mountain Lions, while Hannah Behner and Morgan Kasel had one each.
Pien Van Kampen registered seven saves in net for YHC.
