AMERICUS, Ga. | Georgia Southwestern State University scored two goals in the first eight minutes and then held on for a 2-1 Peach Belt Conference men's soccer victory over Young Harris College Monday (March 8) evening at Hurricane Field.
The Hurricanes improved to 3-1-0 overall and to 3-1-0 in the league, while the Mountain Lions fell to 2-1-1 and 2-1-1.

- Young Harris scored its goal in the 18th minute on Sondre Olsen's third goal of the season off an assist from Val Feeney.
- The Mountain Lions dominated Hurricanes in shots 25-9, including a 14-6 margin on goal. Feeney led Young Harris with seven shots, while Saad Maziane had six.
- YHC held a 14-2 edge in corner kicks over GSW.
- Henrik Timgren recorded four saves in goal for Young Harris.
