OUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Logan Worley collected six hits and drove in five runs as Young Harris College swept a Peach Belt Conference baseball doubleheader from Georgia College Friday (March 26) at Zell B. Miller Field.
The Mountain Lions won the opener 5-3 before Young Harris took the nightcap 13-3 in seven innings.
YHC improved to 13-7 overall and 12-5 in the Peach Belt, while the Bobcats fell to 11-8 and 10-7.

Game 1
- Young Harris tied the game at 1 on Jackson's RBI single through the left side in the second inning.
- The Mountain Lions added single runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings to open up a 4-1 lead.
- Dahlton Cash had an RBI double in the third, while Worley added a run-scoring single an inning later.Â
- Noah Fitzgerald led off the fifth with a homer to left. It was his fifth homer of 2021.
- YHC closed out the scoring in the seven as Worley stole home.
- Chad Brown (4-1) earned the win as he scattered six hits and allowed two unearned runs.
- Brody Meeks earned his first save as he pitched the final three innings.

- YHC batters were hit six times. Hawkins was hit three times, while Greer was hit twice.
- Worley led off the first with a homer - his first of the year - to left field on the first pitch he saw.
- Cash added a RBI double and Jackson drove in two with a single to center.
- Jackson started the scoring in the fourth on a RBI double, before Ayers added a run-scoring single and Worley drove in another on a double.
- The Mountain Lions ended the game early in the seventh as Worley added a two-run single and Wallace added a bases-loaded walk.
- Worley and Jackson led Young Harris with three hits each, while Fitzgerald had two.
- Cole Edwards (3-1) earned the complete-game victory as he allowed five hits and struck out seven.
