YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Noah Fitzgerald hit two homers and drove in six as the Mountain Lions registered a 23-3 Peach Belt Conference baseball victory over Claflin University Saturday (March 20) evening at Zell B. Miller Field.

The Mountain Lions improved to 8-6 overall and to 8-5 in the Peach Belt, while Claflin fell to 1-17 and 1-16.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• Fitzgerald led the 18-hit parade for the Mountain Lions with four hits.  Fitzgerald's grand slam highlighted a six-run third inning that saw YHC take a 10-3 lead.  He added a two-run homer to right center to start an eight-run fifth inning.
• The Mountain Lions smacked five home runs against the Panthers. In addition to Fitzgerald's pair, Rome Wallace had a solo shot, while Jackson Jones and Cole Jackson each contributed two-run homers.
• Jones and Wallace tallied three hits apiece, while Logan Worley and Tucker Greer had two each.
• Jackson and Worley each drove in three runs, while Greer and Jones each knocked in two.
• Chad Brown (3-1) earned the win as he struck out seven in five innings.
