GREENWOOD, S.C. | Lander University picked up a 7-0 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Friday (March 12) afternoon at the Job Cabri Tennis Center.

The Bearcats improved to 4-3 overall and to 1-0 in the league, while the Mountain Lions fell to 1-6 and 0-1.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• In the first flight of singles, Young Harris' Jing Dong forced the match to three sets. Eduardo Ferreira won the first set 7-6 (4) before Dong won set two 6-3. Ferriera claimed the win for the Bearcats with a 10-7 victory in the super-tiebreaker.
