YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team opened their 2021 season with a 7-0 non-conference victory over Piedmont College Thursday (Feb. 4) afternoon at the Bob and Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The Mountain Lions improved to 1-0, while the Lions fell to 0-1.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• The Mountain Lions won all six singles matches in straight sets, dropping just 19 games total.
• Young Harris won all three doubles matches to claim the doubles point.
• The closest match of the day came at the first flight of doubles as Kash Reddiyar and Ignacio Ascarrunz was forced to a tiebreaker which the YHC duo won 7-4.
• Young Harris leads the all-time series with the Lions 2-0.
