AUGUSTA, Ga. | The Young Harris College volleyball season came to a close Friday (Nov. 19) evening as they lost to the University of South Carolina-Aiken 25-20, 25-11 and 25-14 in the opening round of the 2021 Peach Belt Conference Tournament held at Christenberry Fieldhouse on the campus of Augusta University.

The Mountain Lions, who were seeded sixth in the tournament, ended their season at 3-23, while the Pacers improved to 18-8. Young Harris was making its first-ever appearance in the Peach Belt Tournament.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• Lily Hidalgo and Chase Vaigneur led the Mountain Lions with six kills each.
• Ginger Truncale distributed eight assists, while Annie Messler had six and Alex Boydstone posted five more.
• Joha Bernis led the Mountain Lions with 11 digs, while Hidalgo contributed seven.
