YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team earned their third straight victory with a 4-2 win over Emmanuel (Ga.) College Wednesday (Sept. 18) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Mountain Lions improved to 3-0, while the Lions fell to 0-1. Young Harris hosts the Mountain Lion Invitational Friday through Sunday (Sept. 20-22). First serve Friday is at 1 p.m., with action continuing Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m.
Ignacio Ascarrunz and
Kash Reddiyar clinched the doubles point for the Mountain Lions with a 6-3 win at the No. 1 flight.
Miguel Danelon and
Romeo Luque picked up a 6-1 win in the No. 3 flight.
Young Harris won three of the singles matches with Luque clinching the win in the No. 4 flight as he defeated Hassan Badran 6-3 and 6-2. Ascarrunz and
John Brett picked up the other singles wins.
