DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. | The Young Harris College competitive cheerleading squad finished second in the National Cheerleaders Association Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship Friday (April 5).
The Mountain Lions, who were competing in the Division Ii Large Coed category, trailed Lindenwood University by three points after the preliminary round Thursday (April 4) and narrowed the margin to just 0.25 after the final round. Young Harris finished close to six points ahead of Peach Belt Conference rival Columbus State University.

Jason Williams. "I'm glad that the seniors can go out with the best finish in program history."
