CENTRAL, S.C. | Tyler Parry threw a complete-game two-hit shutout as Southern Wesleyan University defeated Young Harris College 2-0 Tuesday (April 16) evening at C. Keith Conner Field.
The Warriors improved to 17-26, while the Mountain Lions saw their four-game winning streak snapped and fell to 28-14. Young Harris returns to action Thursday (April 18) when they open up a three-game Peach Belt Conference series against Columbus State University with a 7 p.m. contest in Columbus, Georgia.
Parry, who struck out six and walked four, allowed a leadoff double by
Cole Jackson in the second and a one-out single to
Bailey Campbell in the fourth inning.
Brett Jackson (0-1) absorbed the loss for the Mountain Lions.
