GREENWOOD, S.C. | Lander University defeated Young Harris College 6-0 in a Peach Belt Conference women's tennis match Sunday (March 31) afternoon at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.

The Bearcats improved to 6-12 overall and to 1-5 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-9 and 0-4. Young Harris will return to action Saturday (April 6) when they host Georgia Southwestern State University in a noon PBC match at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

Although the Mountain Lions didn't earn the doubles point, YHC's Oriana Labaqui and Ana Rodriguez defeated Lindsey Wiggins and Nelli Lius at No, 1 doubles 6-3.
