No. 48 Francis Marion defeats Young Harris

FLORENCE. S.C. | Francis Marion University picked up a 6-1 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Saturday (March 30) afternoon at the Kassab Courts.

The 48th-ranked Patriots improved to 12-5 overall and to 2-3 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions to 0-8 and 0-4. Young Harris will face Lander University in a 1 p.m. PBC match Sunday (March 31) in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Ana Rodriguez earned the Mountain Lion point with a 6-4, 6-4 straight set win over Denise Hartmann at No. 2 singles.
