YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The University of North Georgia registered a 6-1 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Saturday (March 23) afternoon in a battle of Blood Mountain rivals at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The No. 10 Nighthawks improved to 11-1 overall and to 2-0 in the PBC, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-7 and 0-3. Young Harris returns to action Saturday (March 30) when they travel to Florence, South Carolina, for an 11 a.m. PBC match against Francis Marion University.

The Mountain Lions earned their point at No. 2 singles as Ana Rodriguez defeated Vaishali Jorge, who is ranked No. 2 nationally in the latest ITA Division II singles rankings, by a score of 7-6 (2) and 6-4.
