YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Augusta University picked up a 6-1 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Sunday (March 17) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The Jaguars improved to 8-5 overall and to 1-4 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-6 amd 0-2. Young Harris will host the University of North Georgia in a 1 p.m. Peach Belt match against its Blood Mountain rival.

Oriana Labaqui earned the point for the Mountain Lions with a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-2) win at No. 1 singles. Labaqui also teamed up with Ana Rodriguez to register a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles.
