YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Georgia College defeated Young Harris College 7-0 in a Peach Belt Conference women's tennis match Saturday (March 16) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The Bobcats improved to 7-2 overall and to 3-0 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-5 and 0-1. Young Harris hosts Augusta University in a 2 p.m. PBC match Sunday (March 17).

Oriana Labaqui dropped a tough three-set match for the Mountain Lions at No. 1 singles. Labaqui lost the first set 7-5 before taking set two 6-3 and being edged 10-8 in the super tiebreaker.
