YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Georgia College defeated Young Harris College 6-1 in a Peach Belt Conference men's tennis match Saturday (March 16) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle NIchols Tennis Complex.
The 13th-ranked Bobcats improved to 8-2 overall and to 2-2 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions remained winless in six matches. Young Harris will host Augusta University in a 2 p.m. PBC match Sunday (April 17).
Romeo Luque earned a point for the Mountain Lions as he won 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at No. 5 singles, while
Herman Ronnberg and
Javier Villar picked up a 6-3 decision at No. 3 doubles.
