YOUNG HARRIS, Ga.  |  The University of North Carolina at Pembroke defeated Young Harris College 2-0 in a Peach Belt Conference women's soccer match Friday (Nov. 8) at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field. 

The Braves improved to 14-4-0 overall and 8-3-0 in the PBC, while the Mountain Lions fell to 6-10-0 and 5-6-0. Both teams have earned a spot in next week's PBC tournament. Pairings for the tournament will be announced later this weekend. 

Alexis Pittman scored her eighth goal of the season for Pembroke in the 13th minute off an assist Paula Valbuena. Rilee Seering added another first half goal after a turnover in the Young Harris backfield in the 32nd minute. 

Gina Ryan tallied two saves in goal for the Braves, while Pien Van Kampen totaled six saves between the pipes for the Mountain Lions.
