COLUMBUS, Ga.  |  The Young Harris College women's soccer team fell to Columbus State University 4-0 in a Peach Belt Conference women's soccer match Wednesday (Oct. 9) afternoon at the Walden Soccer Complex.
The Cougars improved to 5-6-0 overall and 1-4-0 in the PBC, while the Mountain Lions fell to 3-6-0 and 2-2-0. Young Harris hosts Lander University Saturday (Oct. 12) in a 5 p.m. PBC matchup at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field. 
Columbus State jumped to an early 1-0 lead with a goal from Riley Clark at the 2:15 mark, followed by a goal from Parker Morgan three minutes later. 
Sara Halilhodzic, Lizzie Hedrick, and Bria Riancho split time in goal for the Cougars, while Riancho picked up one save. 
Pien Van Kampen tallied four saves between the pipes for the Mountain Lions.
