FLORENCE, S.C. | Flagler College recorded a 5-1 victory over Young Harris College in the quarterfinals of the 2018 Peach Belt Conference Men's Tennis Tournament Friday (April 20) afternoon at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center.

The No. 7 Saints improved to 18-6 and advances to Saturday's (April 21) 1 p.m. semifinals against No. 2 seed Lander University. The No. 22 Mountain Lions fell to 12-7 and must wait until Tuesday (April 24) evening to find out if they will earn one of the five at-large berths from the Southeast region to the NCAA Division II Tournament. Currently Young Harris is ranked No. 8 in the latest NCAA regional rankings.

The Mountain Lions got their point at the No. 3 doubles as Tim Fleerkamp and Mateo Besada won that match 9-8 (4).
