YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College women's tennis team recorded a 7-2 non-conference win over Anderson (S.C.) University Thursday (April 12) afternoon on Senior Day at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The No. 34-ranked Mountain Lions improved to 12-5, while the Trojans fell to 9-10. Young Harris will return to action Sunday (April 15) at 10 a.m. when they host No. 45 Flagler College in a Peach Belt Conference match.

Young Harris recognized its three seniors - Maria Puerta, Elin Rundcrantz and Laura Sanchez - prior to the match. All three won their singles matches as the Mountain Lions took the victory  as they claimed wins in five of the six singles contests.
